About Sadie

I never thought I’d be a realtor. I was born and raised in Central Maine. My father was a small business owner, so I think the entrepreneurial spirit was naturally instilled in me from a young age. However, I always wanted to be a nurse from the time I was a little girl. I achieved that dream and became an RN by the time I was 21. 

Fast forward 10 years, I was now married with 2 young girls and I found myself longing for more in my career. My husband was always able to pick up little “side gigs” to bring in additional income for us on top of our full time jobs and I wanted something similar that I could do to make us more money that didn’t involve working overtime as a nurse. That still entrepreneurial spirit inside of me was stirring a bit, but I had no idea what business venture I could even get into.

I had started to look at climbing the ladder in my workplace so that I could advance my career and earning potential when I was forced into a major crossroads. One that challenged my personal values. I was faced with going against my values to keep my job or walking away from the career I worked so hard for. I chose to stick to my values and I began frantically searching for answers to what I could possibly do. Healthcare was all I ever knew.

I was listening to career expert Ken Coleman on my way to pick up the kids from school. He does this exercise with people who don’t know what they want to do for a career.  He asks them “What would you be doing tomorrow if money and qualifications were no object?” The idea is to blurt out the first thing that comes to mind because it’s what is truly in your heart that you have thought about before.

I had heard him ask this question before so I decided I was going to answer it myself when I heard him setting it up. I bet you can’t guess what came out of my mouth. Yep, Real Estate. I kind of shocked myself and a flood of doubts came rushing in. I stopped them. I went home and told my husband, and he agreed that I’dmake a great real estate agent.

That was all the assurance I needed to pursue this venture. I booked some time with a trusted family friend who was an agent and helped us buy our home. She shared how I could get qualified, and the rest was history! I finally have a career where I can foster that entrepreneurial spirit and grow as a person.

My love for serving others as a nurse has seamlessly carried over into serving clients in real estate. I strive for excellent communication and service to my clients with a focus on developing a deep connection. I love to work with upsizing families because I get to be a part of the vision for their dream home. This is also where I find myself in my own life, so I can truly relate!

I created my Dream Big Method by drawing on my own personal experiences, as well as those of the busy families I’ve helped. I’m excited to put it to work for you.

When I’m not working you can find me at our family’s camp on Sibley Pond, snowmobiling, or at a Patriots’ game.
